If you or someone you know is in need of financial assistance to pay for a class being offered by LA-Sports Kidz, you have come to the right page. This page is dedicated to three families who have been very supportive of the mission Coach Akeim established eight years ago. These families are directly responsible for the success of the programs being offered by LA-Sports Kidz. Without their keen insight, honest advice, business knowledge, encouragement, sacrifices, guidance, financial investment, unconditional support and commitment, thousands of children in Los Angeles would not have and or had the experience of learning fundamental skills while having fun with LA-Sports Kidz.

It is an honor and privilege to offer the following scholarships in the name of these special families. The process of applying for one of these scholarships is very simple. Just download, complete and return the application attached to this page. Once your application has been received and processed you will be notified of the results.

One scholarship will be given for each location where LA-Sports Kidz classes and camps are being offered.

1. The Bartley Family Scholarship
for
Soccer and Baseball Class
Ages 3 - 4 1/2 years

To apply for this scholarship you must be able to submit a copy of your child's report card, progress report or teacher recommendation with the application. The documents must clearly demonstrate academic excellence and effort by your child. Your child does not have to be and A+ student in every subject however the document(s) you provide must show your child is excelling in their academic studies.

2. The Rubin Family Scholarship
for
Adventure In Sports Class
Ages 4 1/2 - 6 years

If you are interested in applying for this scholarship please submit your child's best photo of them engaging in a sport or leisure activity he or she enjoys participating in everyday. The picture should clearly illustrate the passion and joy they have when engaging in the particular recreational activity. A picture of your child watching TV will not be considered. Please forward your child's award wining illustrations along with the application in order to be considered.

3. The Henry Family Scholarship
for
Summer Camp
Ages 4 - 12 years

Please ask your child the following question and assist them with writing their answer. WHAT IS A COACH? Their answer does not have to be 10 pages or 1 page. Their answer just has to be honest and clear. Please send their answer along with the application in order to be considered for this scholarship.
