Working with LA-Sports Kidz can be one of the most rewarding and valuable experiences of your life. You'll be around sports and kidz in an environment that is both challenging and very rewarding. Qualified individuals who successfully become apart of the LA-Sports Kidz team are enthusiastic, flexible, patient, humorous and imaginative leaders. As a counselor you will often find yourself in the role of friend, teacher, coach, and big brother or sister. It is the trust and responsibility that is very rewarding and serious. All positions require excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, as well as the ability to interact with children and parents in a positive, friendly manner at all times.

Individuals must possess excellent English written and oral communication skills. Bi-lingual skills are highly desirable. Every position requires that you have the ability to work effectively without direct supervision. Must be able to work in all unforeseen conditions - WITH A SMILE!!

Minimum Qualifications

• Completed first year of college
• Be an outstanding role model

• Ability to obtain Red Cross First Aid & CPR training (camp will incur expense)
• Possess outstanding moral standards, character, and integrity
• Excellent communication skills

• Interest in seeking guidance and direction
• Strong desire to make a positive difference in a child's life

Individuals must successfully complete a criminal background and pre-employment drug screening. Some individuals may be required to possess a valid CA Drivers license as they may be required to run errands during business hours. LASK does not provide for relocation and is an EEO Employer.

COMPENSATION
Counselor : $10.00 - $17.00 per hour

Specialist : $20.00 - $50.00 per hour
